AFreight College Scholarship Program Now Open to Relatives of Singapore-based OFWs
The “Pa-Iskolar” scholarship program started in 2008, giving scholarships to relatives of Hong Kong-based OFWs. As of school year 2016-2017, the program has a total of 85 scholars coming from different provinces including Batangas, Laguna, Mindoro, Ifugao, and Antique. It already produced 32 successful graduates, one of them, a Cum Laude.
The Anniversary Celebration will feature special guests including celebrities like Tom Rodriguez and Boobay.
For 25 years, AFreight Cargo PTE Ltd has been serving the cargo needs of Filipino workers in Singapore. It was established in 1993 to engage in door-to-door cargo forwarding after the success of AFreight’s network in Hong Kong.
